The Penmachno Trail is managed by a group of volunteers (Menter Bro Machno*), and are not funded by private enterprise or Natural Resources Wales.
This means the trail is maintained by volunteers and funded by donations, which is why we ask all riders to 'pay back their dirt' - basically give something back to the trail.
Donate
There is a donation box at the trailhead noticeboard or you can donate via PayPal.
The funds are ploughed back into the trails (repair, maintenance & improvements) with 10% being given to community projects.
